I have had the pleasure of working with Kate since my three year old was a newborn. She delicately took my newborn into her capable hands and photographed him in a warm and safe environment. Since then she has taken our family portraits annually, and each year I am extremely impressed at how accurately she captures each of my family members. Kate is extremely personable and is excellent at communicating with people of all ages. She creates a cozy and cheerful environment - even the fussiest of kids can't help but smile and giggle during her sessions! I still can’t believe how beautiful my maternity pictures turned out. While I was 8 and a half months pregnant with my 3rd pregnancy and feeling like there is no way I could have attractive pictures taken of myself, somehow Kate made me both look and feel like one of the beautiful women you see online. I had never had professional pictures taken of myself like that so I didn’t know what to expect. She made me feel at ease and comfortable. The conversation was great and kept me from being nervous. She has raw, natural talent and takes/creates beautiful pictures. We have done many family shoots with her, and I would recommend her to anyone. From the initial email, to setting up your shoot, she makes it easy through the whole process. The hardest part is figuring out which pictures you want to print! She even has a wardrobe if you need help with clothes. This came in handy when dressing my husband for the pictures. She is one of the best photographers I have worked with!!

I have been using Quiet Side Photography since my first son was a newborn and the photos are ones that I treasure. She is patient with the kids, takes her time with the session and gives an assortment of finished images to choose from. I end up loving them all so much that I have them framed all over my house and instead of replacing them each time I get new pictures, I just end up buying more frames so I can keep all the pictures up.
