Newborn

I believe all newborns are completely perfect, just the way they are. My style is simple and organic. I do not use elaborate props or unnatural posing. Instead, I capture the simple beauty and tiny details that make each baby unique. I focus on soft neutral colors, texture, and beautiful light which allows the love and connection shine through each image. My favorite images are those of baby placed just where they want to be, in their parent's arms. Welcoming a new little one is such a momentous time for you and your family and it should be remembered forever. These first few days are fleeting moments. They will never fit in your arms this way again.

BABIES

Oh the first years of your little one's life is so magical. Everything is so new and so exciting. The days can be long (and the nights even longer), but before you know it, they have left their baby years behind them. It happens so fast. And as a mom, I always long for those days. I may forget how exhausting they could be, because I remember the sweet snuggles, the first laughs, the first smiles, the first steps. Somehow even the late night feedings are missed, when the house is quiet and it's just you and your baby looking up at you. We never get this time back. Before we know it they are all grown up and we miss how tiny they once were. Capture these milestones and their unique stage and celebrate all their new accomplishments.

Child & family

If I had to chose, I would say that photographing families and children are my favorites. I am drawn to the special and unique bond that each family has. From the private jokes to the snuggles, I love the love and connection that each family has for one another. I always feel honored when a family chooses me to document this moment for them. I love capturing children as they are- laughing, playing, being silly and so full of life.  Isn't that how you want your children to remember their childhood? Because family pictures aren't just for a Holiday card or to shared on social media. They are for your children to look back on and see how fiercely they were loved and how important they are. They are for you to relive the moment when your children were small, when Dad knew all the best tickle spots and Mom's arms felt like the safest place in the world. Children grow up, this time is precious. Capture it. Preserve it. Cherish it.
